Illumination

I helped create this promotional piece for the Illumination Art Show.  Andrew Salituri, Mike Green, and Tim Eagerton helped with production, original concept, and design.  We planned to shoot the artists on a green screen but something fell through and we ended up shooting them against a black backdrop with a brown carpet floor.  In post-production I used After Effects CS4 to create the artificial environment with the floating "firefly" artists.  I used Trapcode Particular and Shine to make the thousands of floating orbs around the logo.  If you live in San Diego, check out this art show! Tyler + Emily Wedding Trailer

Yet another collaboration between STUDIOcastillero and yours truly!  We shot this in beautiful Carmel California near the Monterey Bay.  Emily and Tyler were so gracious, they even let us eat dinner with them in their hotel suite before the reception!  That made my day for sure.  For all you techie people reading, I shot this on a combination of the Canon 7D and 5D Mark II, a variety of lenses were used.  All the still photography of course comes courtesy of STUDIOcastillero.  Enjoy!

Andie + Doug e.MOTION

Here is a new service my friends over at STUDIOcastillero are offering - the e.MOTION video.  The name comes from the phrase "engagement session in motion".  It's basically an engagement session slideshow with video clips thrown in.  Collaboration Station.  Rico and Rachel take the pics while Aqua Vivus handles the video side of things :)

A heavenly day in Santa Cruz California!  I don't know why I wore a sweater, it was way too nice to be bundled up.  My good buddy Michael Payne shot this with me, great working with you!  Thanks to the Thomas and Bontrager families for making this day happen!
